The tone for Where the Wild Things Are trailer I believe started out to be somewhat down and more depressing in the beginning. The music is slow paced and in a way intense. The opening lyrics are "Children don't grow up-our bodies get bigger but out hearts get torn up" I believe set the initial mood. Then as the music speeds up I believe the tone loosens up and becomes much more jolly. The actions of the video also change. It goes from the boy looking sad and bored in the beginning part to him smiling, laughing, and running around.
